Project Description This project redefines subterranean living, transforming the basement into a monumental, open-plan pavilion that blurs the lines between interior architecture and the natural world. Designed as the villa’s primary social heart, the space is centered around a dramatic biophilic core that brings life, light, and airiness to the lower level.

Key Design Highlights:

• The Biophilic Light-Well: A double-height internal courtyard serves as the project’s anchor, featuring a mature, integrated tree and a sculptural water garden that act as a biological heartbeat for the entire floor.

• Fluid “Water” Lighting: A massive, custom-designed glass-installation chandelier spans the primary living areas, mimicking the organic movement of water and providing a dynamic, ethereal glow.

• Grand Open-Plan Lounge: The social area utilizes low-profile modular sofas and minimalist sculptural coffee tables to maintain an unobstructed view of the indoor greenery and the massive garden-facing glass walls.

• Bespoke Formal Dining: The pavilion features a grand formal dining wing with a monolithic marble table for 14 guests, framed by textured grey stone feature walls and integrated library-style shelving.

• Architectural Transitions: Sleek marble-clad pillars with built-in entertainment units and fluted wooden panels are used to define functional zones without sacrificing the monumental sense of scale.

• Gourmet Service Hub: A high-end open-concept bar and secondary kitchen feature full-height marble splashbacks and gold-trimmed cabinetry, ensuring that elite hospitality is seamlessly integrated into the design.
